Legal terms

The event is unsupported on the routes and supported at the basecamp. That means that outside of the basecamp there is no support by the organisation; medical or technical.
The participant acknowledges the inherent dangers and risks involved in participating in the activity. Risks may include, but are not limited to, crashes, collisions with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, or objects, and dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, weather, inadequate safety equipment, use of equipment or materials provided by Le Pilgrimage or the participant.
The participant accepts and assumes all risks and is fully responsible for his or her actions whilst attending the event. Le Pilgrimage does not accept responsibility for the actions of the participant nor the consequences of such action.
The participant is responsible for providing his or her own insurance protection for his or her participation during the event. Any accident or injury caused by any participant’s actions will be the full responsibility of that participant.
Before the event you’ll be asked to sign a “rider agreement” which contains a liability waiver and release form.

Cancellation terms

In case of cancellation of a entree, the following will be refunded:

Cancellation 90 Days before start 60% refund
Cancellation more than 60 Days before start 30% refund
Cancellation more than 30 Days before start 15% refund
Cancellation less than 30 Days before start NO refund

A cancellation is considered valid from the moment of sending an email to the organizers notifying them of the cancellation. The organizers advise the booker to provide a travel and cancellation insurance to cover themselves for costs in case the booking should be canceled unexpectedly.

GPS Tracker Terms

The Queclink rental tracker will be handed over to you at the start of Le Pilgrimage. It is your responsibility to correctly operate the device and return it, in working condition, back to the organisation at the finish.
If a tracker is lost, damaged or stolen then FMC will charge the user €150 (ex. VAT) for a replacement.
Trackers returned later than one week after the finish will incur a late return fee of €25 (ex. VAT) per week.
This begins on the first day of each additional week.
Trackers that are not returned within five weeks after the finish date will be considered lost. The replacement fee of €150 (ex. VAT) per lost device will be invoiced upon the user.
GPS Tracker Liability: the user agrees that the tracking is for entertainment purposes only.
