Le Pilgrimage Gravel 2026: Sharing the Journey
For the fourth time, about fifty pilgrims gather in Puy-Saint-Vincent from about ten different countries to enjoy some of the best food, trails and company the Écrins area has to offer. Cementing its position as a unique event, Le Pilgrimage was sold out within 24 hours. What makes this event hit different is the combination of quite brutal and challenging rides during the day and the comfort of mountain hotel Saint Roch.
Le Pilgrimage Trail Deux: Shared Trails, Food & Stories
Thirty pilgrims from eight countries gathered in Puy-Saint-Vincent for the second edition of Le Pilgrimage Trail. What followed was a journey through the Écrins: 125 kilometres, 7,500 metres of climbing, shared meals, cold refuge nights and mountain trails that turned strangers into comrades.
Le Pilgrimage Gravel 2025: Beautifully Brutal
While cold and wet pilgrims huddled in fleece blankets around a small fire in the abandoned Fort de l’Olive, organisers Simon and Cyril looked at each other with a fleeting reflection: had we pushed them too far? These were the fastest riders. If even they arrived trembling and soaked, what about those still out on the mountain?
Opening Chapter: In the Footsteps of Saint Roch
After starting out as a gravel event, Le Pilgrimage took a new turn and developed a trail running stage event across the mighty mountains of the Ecrin region.
