SHARED JOURNEYS
THROUGH THE ALPS
On foot or on two wheels | Puy-Saint-Vincent
Every pilgrim has their own journey, but the best stories are shared along the way.
Inspired by our patron pilgrim Saint Roch, Le Pilgrimage takes you through the Alps, on foot or on two wheels, where challenging trails, remote valleys and unexpected encounters become part of your own journey.
At the end of the day, you find refuge around the table, sharing good food and stories with fellow pilgrims before setting off again the next morning.
LE PILGRIMAGE
DE SAINT ROCH
Le Pilgrimage
Le Pilgrimage brings together adventure, community and shared tables. It's not a race, but a series of challenging journeys through the Alps, where the experience matters more than the finish time.
For Gravel and Trail, three stages bring you back to our basecamp at HĂ´tel Saint Roch each day. Bikepacking takes you further into the French and Italian Alps, with mountain refuges bringing pilgrims together along the way.
From quiet valleys and forest trails to high mountain passes, each event offers a different way to explore the Écrins Massif and beyond, sharing the same spirit of adventure and togetherness.
WHERE WILL WE TAKE YOU
Starting in Puy-Saint-Vincent, on the edge of Écrins National Park and close to the Italian border, Le Pilgrimage takes you into some of the most beautiful and remote parts of the Alps.
Discover hidden valleys, mountain refuges, high-altitude lakes and glacier views, following trails and mountain roads that will challenge you along the way. From steep hike-a-bike sections to exposed mountain ridges, every journey has its own challenges and rewards.
Whether returning to HĂ´tel Saint Roch or finding refuge further into the mountains, there's always a place to slow down, enjoy good food and share stories with fellow pilgrims.
The Heart of Le Pilgrimage
HĂ´tel Saint Roch is the heart of Le Pilgrimage, a welcoming mountain retreat in Puy-Saint-Vincent where pilgrims come together before and after their adventures.
For Gravel and Trail, the hotel serves as our basecamp, offering a comfortable place to return to after each stage. For Bikepacking, it's where the journey begins and where we reunite at the finish.
With comfortable rooms overlooking the mountains, a swimming pool, bar and bike workshop, there's plenty of space to relax and recover. Chef Anne and her team prepare fresh, homemade meals, bringing pilgrims together around the table to enjoy good food and share stories from their days in the mountains.
Whether on foot or on two wheels, HĂ´tel Saint Roch is the perfect starting point for your next mountain adventure.
NEWS
With the first snow arriving in the Alps, we returned to the Col du Parpaillon, a mountain pass that was part of the very first edition of Le Pilgrimage.
